Using our new tree cover dataset, you can now automatically exclude tree cover your farm or project boundaries. To do this, follow the below steps (or watch the walkthrough):

Select the boundary you want to exclude tree cover from.

Select ‘stratify boundary’ from the boundary menu.

In number of strata, select ‘3’.

Tick the ‘Tree Cover’ metric in the menu. Be sure to unselect the other metrics.

Select begin.

Once the strata are created, select ‘Make Boundaries from Strata’ below the chart at the bottom right.

Remove any of the strata that contain trees, and remain the remaining strata accordingly.
