      Setting Up Field Defaults in FarmLab Mobile App (Version 2.1.14)

      FarmLab’s mobile app version 2.1.14 introduces the ability to create default Point and Sample Fields, making sampling more efficient and reducing errors caused by repeated manual entry.

      Here's how to configure field defaults in the mobile app (version 2.1.14):

      1. Download the App: Ensure you have version 2.1.14 of the app installed from your preferred app store.


      2. Navigate to Settings: Open the app and head to the settings menu.

      3. Open Field Defaults: Locate and select the Field Defaults option.

      4. Set Default Values:
        • The fields are divided into Point Fields and Sample Fields.
        • Choose a field you wish to set a default value for.

      5.  Enter your desired default value, and press Save.

      • You can set a default value for every field if needed.

      6. To Use Your Default Values:
      • Open a Point, and select the field you have the default value for.
      • The default value will automatically be populated.
      • You can still adjust or change the values for individual points if necessary.

      With these defaults in place, you can streamline your workflow and focus on accurate sampling.
